LAHAD DATU, 13 Ogos (Bernama) — Timbalan Menteri Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi Datuk Dr Mohammad Yusof Apdal hari ini menafikan dakwaan kononnya beliau meletakkan jawatan dan menarik diri daripada Kerajaan Persekutuan.
Beliau ketika dihubungi Bernama hari ini berkata dakwaan yang tular di media sosial itu adalah tidak benar dan berniat jahat.
“Saya masih kekal sebagai anggota pentadbiran Kerajaan Perpaduan dan terus memikul amanah serta tanggungjawab yang telah diamanahkan kepada saya,” katanya.
Beliau berkata penyebaran maklumat palsu seumpama itu bukan sahaja mengelirukan orang awam malah berniat untuk memburukkan nama baik beliau.
Mohammad Yusof yang juga Ahli Parlimen Lahad Datu daripada Parti Warisan turut meminta orang ramai agar tidak menyebarkan berita yang belum disahkan dan sentiasa merujuk kepada sumber rasmi untuk mendapatkan maklumat yang tepat serta sahih.
Terdahulu, satu kiriman media sosial yang tersebar mendakwa Mohammad Yusof membuat keputusan untuk menarik diri daripada jawatan Timbalan Menteri berkuat kuasa hari ini.
