Dua Maut, Empat Cedera Parah Dalam Kemalangan Di Putrajaya
PUTRAJAYA, 20 Mac (Bernama) — Dua lelaki maut manakala empat lagi cedera parah dalam kemalangan yang berlaku di Presint 1 menghala ke Taman Wetland, Presint 12, di sini tengah hari tadi.
Penolong Pengarah Operasi Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Putrajaya PgB M Haziq Hazmi berkata pihaknya menerima panggilan kecemasan melalui talian NG999 pada 11.58 pagi sebelum sebuah jentera dari Balai Bomba dan Penyelamat (BBP) Presint 14 bersama pasukan EMRS dikejarkan ke lokasi kejadian.
“Setibanya di lokasi pada 12.07 tengah hari, pasukan mendapati sebuah kereta jenis Proton Saga telah terbabas sebelum merempuh sebatang pokok di tepi jalan, dengan beberapa mangsa tercampak keluar dari kenderaan akibat impak kemalangan.
“Enam mangsa terlibat dalam kejadian tersebut dan dua lelaki disahkan meninggal dunia di lokasi oleh pihak Kementerian Kesihatan (KKM),” katanya menerusi hantaran Facebook Bomba Wilayah Persekutuan Putrajaya hari ini.
Beliau berkata empat mangsa lain telah dihantar ke hospital untuk rawatan lanjut menggunakan jentera EMRS dan pasukan bomba telah menjalankan operasi pengasingan mangsa serta kerja pembersihan di lokasi termasuk memotong pokok menggunakan peralatan khas bagi memastikan laluan selamat sepenuhnya.
Operasi melibatkan tujuh anggota bersama satu jentera LFRT dan satu unit EMRS dari BBP Presint 14.
Turut berada di lokasi adalah pihak Polis Diraja Malaysia, Angkatan Pertahanan Awam Malaysia dan KKM.
