KUALA LUMPUR, 4 Sept (Bernama) — Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim berpendapat individu yang memberikan kerjasama sepenuhnya dalam sesuatu siasatan tidak perlu dipakaikan baju tahanan berwarna jingga ketika dibawa ke mahkamah sebelum mereka dituduh secara rasmi.
Beliau berkata langkah itu wajar dipertimbangkan bagi mengelak persepsi negatif masyarakat terhadap individu terbabit memandangkan proses siasatan masih berjalan dan mereka belum berdepan sebarang pertuduhan.
“Semalam (dalam mesyuarat Jemaah Menteri) saya juga sampaikan (beritahu), sebelum pendakwaan atau sebelum dihadapkan dan didakwa, baju jingga tidak perlu (pakai),” kata beliau kepada pemberita selepas menunaikan solat Jumaat di Masjid Bukit Indah, Ampang Jaya hari ini.
Anwar berkata beliau menghormati pandangan pelbagai pihak mengenai perkara itu.
“Setakat ini saya menghormati pandangan kerana ada orang yang rasanya bagi kerjasama dalam siasatan, tidak perlulah dikenakan (dipakaikan) baju jingga kerana ia akan memberi persepsi berbeza,” katanya.
Selasa lepas, seorang bekas menteri dibawa ke mahkamah dengan memakai baju tahanan Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM) berwarna jingga bagi proses permohonan reman berhubung siasatan isu pajakan hotel berkaitan Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) di Arab Saudi.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
